The corduroy shorts are thick enough that my daughter wore them straight through a muddy morning of fort-building without a single complaint. That tiny backpack is the real winner though, she's been stuffing it with rocks and pinecones all week.
My three-year-old refuses to take off the little backpack, it's become his treasure pouch for every walk. The jersey top is soft enough that he doesn't complain about it, which honestly never happens.
The corduroy shorts have held up through three washes already and still look new, which surprised me at this price. My daughter insists on wearing the little backpack everywhere, even to the grocery store, and it's roomy enough for a snack and a few rocks.
