The handle is just the right size for my 3-year-old's grip, and she can open it herself without pinching her fingers. Being made from recycled polyester is a nice bonus since she's rough on everything. It's held up through a few windy walks already.
My 4-year-old actually carries this herself, which says a lot since she usually hands me everything heavier than a snack cup. It's made from recycled polyester, so I don't feel guilty about a kid's umbrella ending up lost at school.
